So what’s new for 2020? Honestly not much for ordinary individuals. We still have the increased middle income offset of $1080 that was brought in last year and a couple of income tax brackets that also changed last year.
If you have received JobKeeper payments from your employer or JobSeeker payments from the government these payments need to be declared on your personal return.
Oh and if you don’t get your payment summary this year don’t worry. Most likely we can get it for you from the ATO.
