Well a new year is on us already (I am writing this in February so the new year has crept up on me!) how was you summer break? At least we had some stable warm weather through the main holiday period. In 2017 there are a lot of changes going on behind the scenes in terms of how the ATO process returns and accepts data from us – your Accountants. Hopefully this will result in less glitches and faster refunds and return processing.
In the 2017 tax season (July onwards) we are going to have a presence at Bentons Square we are still struggling to find permanent office space in Mount Martha or Dromana. There is plenty of office space in Mornington but we would rather not take an office up there as we are at the other end of Mt Martha and shop in Mt Martha and Dromana, rather than heading into Mornington.
We are also starting a networking breakfast at Degani in Bentons square, the first breakfast will be March 2017, I will post up a registration link when it becomes available.
